Las Vegas
Las Vegas is a city of dreams, hope, revenge, mobs, gangsters, and anything else you can think of. However that is why it not why I am telling you about it. I am telling you this because this city makes up the perfect stage for one of the best tv shows of all time, and its actually called, “Las Vegas”. This show sadly come a very sudden halt after 5 amazing seasons. This show is not you average tv show. It has a perfect mix of gambling, romance, action, and comedy. It is about a casino called the Montecito and its crew that worked there. It had a few main characters that ranged from the head of operations, head of securities, the casino hostess, pit boss, and head of entertainments. It goes through their lives and all the crazy stuff they go through while trying to run this casino. Almost every episode someone is either trying to steal money, cheat at cards, or the crazy “Whale’s” (rich people) have weird and crazy requests to make. One thing people may be surprised to here is the guy who plays Danny McCoy is actually from Minot ND, his name is Josh Duhamel. He is the head of security and eventually gets promoted to president of operations when Ed Deline, well let’s just say he isn’t on the show anymore. The casino goes thro many different owners and with each new owner new and sometimes more difficult tasks tend to happen. However with this all star cast they seem to always find a way around it. Sadly this tv show only lasted 5 season, there was never any clear reason to the public why it was canceled, some say it was because main characters kept leaving or getting written of the show. While others say they just could keep up with the fan base needed in today’s entertainment. This show started in 03 and ended Feb 15, 2008.

Heroes
There are many TV shows and sitcoms on TV today. A lot of them are very similar to each other, however there is one show that I strongly feel stands out from all of the others. This show is called Heroes, it is a very complicated show that is constantly throwing you curve balls and surprises. The main point about this show is that people with abilities are trying to save the world, every season there is a new disaster that they need to stop from happening.
There is not really a main character to this show, there is about 6 or 7 main characters. Each with separate abilities. Some can fly, some can heal and never die, others can read minds or make you do something, while other control fire, or in some rare cases there are people who can take the power of whoever they encounter.
Although this may seem all well and good, not everyone uses there power for good. In fact some people kill to get more power. This is why several people took it upon there selves to stop these people before they could hurt anyone. These people are knows as the company. The company teams people up in pars, one human goes with one person with powers to even the playing field. However as the season go on you will learn that the company is not the only “company” that is after these people. In season 3 even the US government gets involved in the matter, however that may not be a good thing. They wish to catpure all of the people with powers, weather they are good or bad it does not matter to them. Although there is plenty of morally grey areas. IS what the “Company” is doing right? Are they making the world a better place? Is the US government a good guy or bad? Watch Heroes every Monday night to find out, and make your own call.

Still Waiting... or still not acting
“Waiting...” is one of the best movies I have ever seen in my life!! I always hoped they would make a sequel someday, and when I heard they did "Still waiting.."I was so excited. Once again I got excited over nothing. I went into this knowing that Ryan Reynolds was not in this movie, but I figured that with all of the same co-stars that were in the last one I thought there was no way this could be a flop. Little did I know nothing, not even the quick and small appearances of the bigger actors from the first movie could save this flop. This movie is about the restaurant Shenaniganz, that is close to going out of business, due to the new restaurant Tata’s which is basically a Hooters. In this movie they need to come up with a $9,000 day or else they are shutting down for good. Although it does have some of the cast from the first movie, they did not play big roles. You would think that actors in the first one who had small but yet important parts, would get upgraded to the main roles in this one. For example, 17 year old host from the first movie that Monty (Ryan Reynolds) had a thing for was in this movie. For about 40 seconds and had two lines. The actors that they hired to play the main characters in this movie were not only new to acting, but in my opinion knew to being human beings. They had no idea how to talk in front of a camera, everything they said you could tell was being read of a script or memorized of a script. There was no feeling to it or what I like to call realness. This movie was a prime example of what we call a B-movie, it was just a movie milking off of the name Waiting. I wish this movie would have never been made and all the people that acted in this movie should feel ashamed at what they did to the movie that me and all of my friends have come to love. So if you are out tonight or this weekend looking for a movie to watch. Do not watch “Still waiting...” rent a good movie and see what acting and watching a movie is all about, watch “Waiting...”
