Still Waiting... or still not acting
“Waiting...” is one of the best movies I have ever seen in my life!! I always hoped they would make a sequel someday, and when I heard they did "Still waiting.."I was so excited. Once again I got excited over nothing. I went into this knowing that Ryan Reynolds was not in this movie, but I figured that with all of the same co-stars that were in the last one I thought there was no way this could be a flop. Little did I know nothing, not even the quick and small appearances of the bigger actors from the first movie could save this flop. This movie is about the restaurant Shenaniganz, that is close to going out of business, due to the new restaurant Tata’s which is basically a Hooters. In this movie they need to come up with a $9,000 day or else they are shutting down for good. Although it does have some of the cast from the first movie, they did not play big roles. You would think that actors in the first one who had small but yet important parts, would get upgraded to the main roles in this one. For example, 17 year old host from the first movie that Monty (Ryan Reynolds) had a thing for was in this movie. For about 40 seconds and had two lines. The actors that they hired to play the main characters in this movie were not only new to acting, but in my opinion knew to being human beings. They had no idea how to talk in front of a camera, everything they said you could tell was being read of a script or memorized of a script. There was no feeling to it or what I like to call realness. This movie was a prime example of what we call a B-movie, it was just a movie milking off of the name Waiting. I wish this movie would have never been made and all the people that acted in this movie should feel ashamed at what they did to the movie that me and all of my friends have come to love. So if you are out tonight or this weekend looking for a movie to watch. Do not watch “Still waiting...” rent a good movie and see what acting and watching a movie is all about, watch “Waiting...”
